Wally's Garage Closes In Western Springs

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — A long-time Western Springs business has closed its door. Wally's Garage has announced its closure after 73 years in Western Springs.

According to the village newsletter, Wally Kloog is retiring after 62 years of working in the business his father started in 1945. A hand-written sign on the garage door at the business, located at 706 Hillgrove Ave., announced the closing.

In the village newsletter, the Village and business community thanked Wally for his legacy of outstanding service to the public and wish him a long and happy retirement.
