Western Springs Little League to Play in State Championship

Submitted by the Western Springs Little League Board.

Western Springs Major Boys (11/12) will play for the state championship Tuesday, Aug. 4.

Game time is 5:30 p.m. at the Lansing Old Timers Complex, 16500 Chicago St., Lansing.

Western Springs recorded 3 wins and 1 loss in the double elimination tournament. They beat Horner Park this evening 9-0 to advance to the championship round.

If they win Tuesday, they will need to also beat the same team, Olney, on Wednesday to advance to the Little League World Series Regional in Indianapolis.

Attendees are asked to wear red or royal blue and support the team.
