Western Springs Runners Finish the Boston Marathon

Western Springs, IL - Several local runners have accomplished the daunting task of finishing the Boston Marathon.

On Monday, April 18, more than 30,000 runners took off from Hopkinton and traveled 26.2 miles to Boston.

Lisa Devereux was the fastest Western Springs runner, with a finish time of 03:32:21, according to unofficial results.
