SEP 5, York Theatre, free: Young Frankenstein Film & Panel

The Village Read finale is on September 5: a free screening and discussion of "Young Frankenstein" at the York Theatre.

This summer the Thomas Ford Memorial Library in Western Springs is encouraging everyone in their village to read Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein" as part of their community-wide program, The Village Read. For their finale, they will be showing Mel Brooks' comedy classic Young Frankenstein on the big screen at the York Theatre in Elmhurst on Wednesday, September 5 at 7:30 p.m. There will be a post-film discussion featuring Josh Larsen from the Filmspotting podcast, and Steve Prokopy from Third Coast Review. This is a free event, but seating is limited, so registration is required in order to guarantee entrance. Sign up by visiting fordlibrary.org or calling the library at (708) 246-0520. The York Theatre is located at 150 North York Road, Elmhurst.
