Dog Jumps On Woman's Lap, Causes Accident: Cops
A Yorkville Police report said the 36-year-old woman is from Sugar Grove.
YORKVILLE, IL — Police responded to an unusual traffic incident Monday when a 36-year-old Sugar Grove woman's dog jumped into her lap while she was behind the driver's seat. The vehicles were found near the intersection of Route 47 and Wrigley Way.
The dog caused her to rear-end a 66-year-old Yorkville man's Nissan SUV in front of her, causing moderate damage.
The Yorkville Police accident report said she was driving her GMC Terrain with two juveniles at 5:13 p.m. when the incident occurred.
