Plano Woman Accused Of Attempted Screwdriver Stabbing

Nancy Sandoval is accused of trying to stab someone with a screwdriver Tuesday, leaving a scratch on their back, according to reports.

KENDALL COUNTY, IL — A Plano woman was arrested and taken to the Kendall County Jail Tuesday stemming from accusations she punched someone several times and tried to stab them with a screwdriver, leaving a scratch on their back, WSPY News reported, according to Plano police. According to the news report, Plano police were called to a domestic disturbance report Tuesday in the 3700 block of Carey Street, and arrested 28-year-old Nancy Sandoval on accusations of domestic battery.

Sandoval was taken to the Kendall County Jail and faces domestic battery charges. According to WSPY News, police said the other person refused to be treated.

According to sheriff's office report, Sandoval posted bond and is due back in Kendall County court on Oct. 1.
