Two New Officers Sworn Into Yorkville Police Department

Both majored in criminal justice in college.

Two new full-time officers recently joined the Yorkville Police Department.

Officer Chris Jeka is a graduate of Newark High School and a more recent graduate of St. Francis University in Joliet. He graduated in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.

Officer Kyle Davis is a graduate of Mendota High School and attended  Illinois Valley Community College in Oglesby. He graduated in 2009 with an associate's degree in criminal justice.
