Woman Cited For Fleeing Yorkville Crash Scene: Cops
Anne Scott was arrested for a DUI and issued a citation for leaving the scene of a crash.

YORKVILLE, IL — An Aurora woman was arrested Saturday evening in Yorkville on charges of a DUI, and was issued citations for leaving the scene of the accident, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured vehicle, police said. Anne Scott, 43, of the 800 block of Sard Avenue, was traveling on west Main Street when she crossed Route 47 and attempted to make a left turn. Scott's Hyundai Sonata struck a Ford F-150's passenger door and its front bumper area, police said.
The driver of the Ford was heading north on Route 47 and was turning left onto Main Street, according to Yorkville police.
According to police, Scott left the scene, heading south on Route 47, then struck a traffic sign in the median at the intersection of Route 47 and River Road. Police said officers found Scott and placed her under arrest.
