Yorkville Police Following Every Lead In Search For Missing Man

Yorkville police told Patch they are in touch with Erik Jendrzejczyk's family and are following all leads they receive in the investigation.

YORKVILLE, IL — The search continues for a man police said went missing from a Yorkville home last week. According to the Yorkville Police Department, Erik J. Jendrzejczyk, 26, went missing during the morning of Aug. 11, and had been staying with his sister in Yorkville during the 7-10 days before he went missing. Yorkville police told Patch they are in touch with Erik's family and are following every lead they receive in this investigation.

Police said Erik was discovered missing during the morning hours on Aug. 11, leaving no note or any indication of where he'd gone, and the family has had no contact with him.

Erik is described as 5 feet, 8 inches, 145 pounds, medium build, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a sleeve of tattoos on both forearms, according to the news release. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black Puma shoes and a shirt — type or color is unknown, police said.
