Yorkville School District 115 Survey Deadline Approaches
CUSD's Superintendent addressed district stakeholders Monday.

YORKVILLE, IL — Yorkville School District 115's Superintendent Dr. Timothy M. Shimp said in a newsletter Monday that enrollment is growing. CUSD 115 is "seeking additional ways to meet students 'where they are,' and creating flexible learning experiences built around interests and dreams," as a part of a district-wide strategic plan.
Shimp reminded parents, teachers and students (grades 6 - 12) about a ten minute survey that's available through Dec. 22. This will allow the district to reflect on strengths and areas for improvement for its 6,000 students.
A Board of Education committee meeting is Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. in the high school. Other upcoming CUSD Board of Education meetings are Dec. 18 and Jan. 8. Don't forget about early release Dec. 22 and winter break, Dec. 25 - Jan. 5.
