Yorkville's TCF Bank Inside Jewel to Close

Yorkville may be gaining a new bank next year, but another one is on its way out.

TCF Bank inside Yorkville's Jewel-Osco, 234 E. Veteran's Parkway, is one of 37 Chicagoland locations inside Jewel stores that will be closing by March 2014, according to a report by NBC.

The closures are reportedly a part of of TCF's retail banking realignment, which plans to focus on online banking and expanded ATM locations. 

118 TCF bank locations will remain open in the Chicagoland area, according to NBC.
Other area branches expected to close are:

• 3795 Orchard, Oswego
• 199 Brookforest Ave., Shorewood
• 465 N. Route 47, Sugar Grove
