WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A new restaurant is coming to Woodbridge:

Angelina's Kitchen plans to open a second location at the Vermella, one of Woodbridge's new luxury apartment complexes.

The big news was announced by Mayor John McCormac Wednesday on his Facebook page.

Angelina's will open a location on the ground floor of the Vermella. They plan to open there sometime this fall.

McCormac described Angelina's as "an iconic Staten Island restaurant." Angelina's serves authentic Italian food that has its roots in Sicily. They will also serve alcohol: He said Angelina's has secured their liquor license from the state Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, "moving them one step closer to their eagerly anticipated opening."
