101-Year-Old Woman Graduates High School

90 years after leaving school, Pearl Russ received her honorary diploma.

A 101-year-old woman fulfilled her lifelong dream of earning her high school diploma, KCRG reported.

Pearl Russ of Wheatland only made it to eighth grade before dropping out of high school to help her family.

“In those years we just didn’t do those things,” she said. “We couldn’t, because the wages wasn’t there, and my dad didn’t get that much money.”
