Community Connection is a video series that highlights the different people and organizations in our community. In each episode, Mayor Bruce Teague interviews guests about a variety of issues that are important to our residents.

The Raise It Up Ride is a series of audio-guided bike routes that reflect on social justice using history, art, culture, and personal stories. In this episode, McGuirk and Audrey Weidemeier of the Iowa City Bike Library and Tracy Jon Sargeant of the Multicultural Development Center of Iowa discuss the idea behind this series and the technology used to create an interactive experience for all members of our community. Register to take part in the Raise It Up Ride and learn about the history of systemic oppression and current inequities that continue to oppress some members of our community.
