The National Weather Service expects that Iowa City’s moderate winter temperatures will continue for a few more days as last week’s snow keeps melting.
The week’s forecast for the Iowa City area looks like this:
- Monday - decreasing cloud coverage with a high around 30 and a low in the mid teens.
- Tuesday - partly sunny with a high in the low 30s and a low in the mid 20s.
- Wednesday - partly cloudy with a high in the low 30s and a chilly low in the single digits.
- Thursday - mostly sunny with a high around 20 and low under 10.
- Friday - High in the high 20s, low around 10.
