Mayor Teague to host Community Connection to address coronavirus

The City of Iowa City is creating a new video series, entitled Community Connection, to highlight community response efforts to the COVID-19 outbreak. Mayor Bruce Teague will be hosting regular conversations with City and Community leaders about efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents during these difficult times.

Community Connection will be shared on the City's Facebook account on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning at 7 p.m. It will also be shared on the City's Twitter and Nextdoor accounts, as well as air on City Channel 4.

The first episode will feature Iowa City Community School District Superintendent Stephen Murley. That episode will air on Thursday, March 26, 2020.
