The man allegedly pushed his girlfriend over after a show in Downtown Iowa City.

A Davenport man received a felony charge after he allegedly pushed over his girlfriend while in Iowa City for a show at the Blue Moose Tap House.
According to an Iowa City Police criminal complaint, police were called to the intersection of Dubuque and Washington Streets for the report of a woman who had been assaulted.
After further investigation, police determined that David Allen Faust, 40, of Davenport was walking with his girlfriend away from the Blue Moose after watching a concert when they reportedly got into an argument. As the woman walked away from Faust, he allegedly pushed her from behind, causing her to fall and injure her knees and elbow, according to the complaint. Faust and the woman live together and have been dating for several months.
Faust had previously been charged for domestic abuse on March 31, 1998; Aug. 6, 2008; and June 18, 2012. Faust was charged with domestic abuse third or subsequent offense, a Class D Felony. He currently is in the Johnson County Jail on $10,000 bond.Â
