Iowa River Trail At Highway 6 Underpass Closed For Maintenance

The Iowa River Trail at the Highway 6 underpass, located just south of Riverfront Crossings Park, will close starting Tuesday, March 16, 2021, for maintenance work.

The trail will be closed for tree work related to stormwater drainage issues in the area. The trail that branches east from the Iowa River Trail towards Gilbert Street, and the gravel lot nearby off of Highway 6, may also be impacted.

When crews are not working, the trail will be temporarily reopened for use.
