Lane Reduction Coming To Gilbert Street

From the City of Iowa City:

Weather permitting, beginning Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020, southbound Gilbert Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic between College and Washington streets.

This lane reduction will facilitate the demolition of a building in the area. It is anticipated that normal traffic will resume by the end of the day on Friday, Feb. 7, 2020.

Motorists should allow extra travel time as delays may occur. As always, use caution when traveling in all construction areas.
