Patricia Ann Bienlien, 76, of Freeport, Illinois passed away Thursday, June 5th at UIHC in Iowa City.
A Memorial Celebration will be held in Freeport, Illinois in August with the date and time to be announced.Â
Arrangements are with Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City.
Patricia was born February 19th, 1938 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of William Thomas Milligan, Sr. and Dorothy May Nolan. She was a graduate of Drake University with a degree in elementary education. On June 11, 1960, Patricia married James Francis Bienlien.
Survivors include her loving husband, James of Freeport and their three daughters: Barbara Jayne (Steve) van der Woude of Iowa City and their children Katherine Grace and Sidney James, Nancy Ann (Jeff) Moon of Cedar Rapids and Marjorie Kay Bienlien of Iowa City; siblings: Susan Jayne Henkel of Hayward, Wisconsin and William Thomas Milligan, III of Des Moines; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Judith Kay Semple.
Patricia was a wonderful hostess and loved to entertain family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
