Phouthone “Pooh” Senephimmachak, 56, of Iowa City, died Sunday morning, June 22, 2014, at his home.
Services will be held Saturday beginning at noon at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City.
Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and after 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Memorials may be directed to the Phouthone Senephimmachak Memorial Fund.
Pooh was born October 1, 1957 in Pakse, Laos.
He worked as a finisher for IAC (formerly Sheller Globe Corp.) for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife Mithing "Mickey" 52; his two daughters, Lai Senephimmachak 34 and husband Tim Lovan 30, Janny Ramirez-Senephimmachak 30 and husband Jose Gumaro Ramirez Cruz 33; grandchildren: Jaylen Lovan 11, Layla Lovan 7, Elijah Quito Ramirez-Senephimmachak 2; and step- grandchildren: Raphael Jose Ramirez 14, Cruz Miguel Ramirez 12 and Isabel Angelia Ramirez 9.
He was preceded in death by a son Tony Senephimmachak who passed on June 14, 1997 at the age of 15.
