The City of Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department is seeking the public's input on a new playground for the Ped Mall. The current playground is being replaced due to aging equipment and difficulty making repairs needed for safe use.
The new playground will replace the current playground that is located just west of the Iowa City Public Library, and near the Weatherdance Fountain. The playground is expected to be completed by spring 2022.
