The City of Iowa City has announced road closures and transit changes for the Iowa City Jazz Festival.

The annual music festival organized by the Summer of the Arts brings with it dozens of jazz performances and activities for the whole family. It runs throughout Downtown Iowa City from Friday, July 2, to Saturday, July 3, 2021.
Road closures and parking

Streets will be closed starting at 6 a.m. Friday, July 2, and will be reopened Sunday, July 4, 2021.
Roads closed due to the festival are:
- Clinton Street from East Jefferson Street to East Washington Street
- Iowa Avenue from Clinton to North Dubuque Street
The following road will be closed at 6 a.m. Saturday, July 2, and will be reopened July 4.
- North Dubuque Street from Iowa to Jefferson
In addition to reduced street parking, some ramp and lot parking will be reserved for festival vendors, artists, performers and service vehicles. Look for posted signs indicating restricted parking.
Transit changes
Starting at 6 a.m. Friday, July 2, the bus interchange will move from Washington and Clinton streets to a temporary location on Court Street between Clinton and Dubuque streets (adjacent to the Court Street Transportation Center) until the service day is concluded on Saturday, July 3, 2021. Normal bus service utilizing the main transit interchange will resume on Monday, July 5, 2021. Iowa City Transit will be operating a normal weekday and Saturday schedules during Arts Fest.
