Banners, balloons, finger foods, and cake were served up to celebrate Joyce Bradley, a 50-year Tulane University Dining employee now retiring.
Festivities, organized by Tulane University Dining by Sodexo, occurred on September 22 when Resident Dining General Manager Ed Daugherty presented Bradley with a pin and crystal award commemorating her time at Tulane.
"You don't meet Ms. Joyce, you experience her,” said Daugherty. “She is a role model who made many lives better by knowing her. We’ve been blessed at Tulane Dining and Sodexo for her years of dedicated service."

Bradley loved interacting with students, faculty, and student athletes who were always happy to see her at the dining hall.
“I have so many stories, I could write a whole book,” said Bradley. “I will really miss seeing my coworkers and students every day. I never thought I would be here this long, but I am glad I was.”
About retirement, Bradley said she is looking forward to relaxing and spending time with family.
