City Of NOLA Requests Volunteers For Hardin Playground Community Clean Up Day

Today the City announced it is seeking volunteers for an upcoming clean up project at Hardin Community Playground on Sat., Feb. 20. Volunteer check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. and the event begins at 9 a.m. Volunteers will be helping out 7th Ward neighbors at the playground from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

In coordination with Hands On New Orleans, volunteers will have the opportunity to make improvements to several items in the interior and exterior of the playground. This includes but is not limited to: repairs to the playground's benches, upgrades to the gazebo, and light post improvements. Volunteers will also be able to beautify the neighborhood by removing litter/debris in Hardin playground and the surrounding streets.
