Fats Domino, Rock And Roll Pioneer, Dies at 89
Fats Domino, known for hits like "Ain't That A Shame" and "Blueberry Hill," died Tuesday in New Orleans.

NEW ORLEANS, LA — Fats Domino, the legendary New Orleans musician who pioneered rock-and-roll, has died. The artist, known for “Ain’t That A Shame,” “Blueberry Hill” and other danceable hits, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017, his daughter said. During his remarkable career, he sold more than 65 million records, more than any other 1950s rock and roll act with the exception of Elvis Presley.
