New Orleans Public Library: Mar 18 Library Helps Make N.O. East Community Cleanup A Success

Early last year, the Library and the Sewerage & Water Board received a Healthy Communities Grant from Keep Louisiana Beautiful to establish a CleanUpNOLA Tool Library to be housed in the East New Orleans Regional Library and stocked with a variety of returnable and disposable materials. The Tool Library was set to launch in March, but was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Library is currently in the process of reestablishing this service and is looking forward to making it available to the public.
