NOLA Traffic Advisory: Temporary Closure Of 750 Block Of Bourbon Street For Roadway Restoration

The roadway is schedule to reopen to vehicular traffic at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 26, weather permitting.

The City of New Orleans, Department of Public Works today announced a week-long closure of the 750 block of Bourbon Street between Orleans Avenue and St. Ann Street beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, April 19, weather permitting to accommodate crews replacing several roadway panels around the safety bollards. Public safety is our priority; signage will be in place throughout the closure. The block will be open to pedestrian traffic and all businesses will be accessible during this work.

The roadway is schedule to reopen to vehicular traffic at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 26, weather permitting. This part of an approximately $600,000 pavement restoration project of roadway panels and sidewalk sections on Bourbon Street between Canal Street and St. Philip Street following upgrades/repairs by a number of utility companies.
