  The Caddo Parish Commission and Pamoja Art Society will host a “Cultural Connection Fair,” Saturday, June 12th from 10:00am - 2:00 pm at the Pamoja Art Society, 3806 Linwood Ave, Shreveport, LA The fair, part of the Parish’s “Safe Summer Initiative”, will highlight various cultures through education, art, and a panel discussion. The event is free and open to the public. Saturday, June 12th from 10:00am - 2:00 pm at the Pamoja Art Society, 3806 Linwood Ave, Shreveport, LA    “The Cultural Connection will provide youth the opportunity to learn about African American, European American, Hispanic American, Asia American cultures and more in a fun and engaging environment,” said District 6 Caddo Parish Commissioner Lynn Cawthorne.    Featured panelists include Jameelah El-Amin, Briant Garcia, Loreta Leavitt, Janice Gatlin and Rebecca Thomas.   The Pamoja Art Society will hold a press conference on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 10:00 am.
