Shreve Memorial Library, in partnership with LSU AgCenter, will present a virtual food safety program on Friday, July 23. The program will be held via Zoom and is open to all interested in learning more about food safety. Participation in the food safety program is free, but registration is required.

Elizabeth Martin, LSU AgCenter Nutrition Agent, will lead the presentation, teaching attendees about all things related to food safety. Participants will learn about the four food safety steps, how to avoid cross contamination, and how to properly store leftovers among other things. The presentation is suitable for all ages and will include easy-to-follow tips and instructions.
