Shreve Memorial Library, in collaboration with Green Thumb at Your Service, will present a virtual seminar on power vegetable gardening. Perfect for new and experienced gardeners, the virtual presentation will cover the basics of vegetable gardening and provide tips for improving crops. The power vegetable gardening seminar will take place on Monday, March 22 at 6:00 p.m.

Power vegetable gardening is a backyard gardening hobby that has been growing in popularity, teaching everyone to harvest power crops of healthy, delicious, sweet, crunchy vegetables. Mark Lyons of Green Thumb at Your Service will teach attendees basic techniques of vegetable gardening covering everything from site selection, soil preparation, and seed starting. The seminar will also review fertilization, watering, pest control, and harvesting.
The virtual program will take place via Zoom and is open and free to all. Registration is required to attend and can be completed at https://bit.ly/SMLGardens.
