SHREVEPORT, LA— July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. KTBS Independence Day Festival

What: Food, Fireworks, Family Fun
Where: Festival Plaza
When: July 4, 2019/ 12:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Seeking a traditional way to celebrate the 4th? Enjoy your July 4th festively with fireworks at Festival Plaza. Spend your night viewing a fireworks display and partaking in various family fun activities. There will be food, music and giveaways.

VIP Fireworks Viewing and Pig Roast

What: Fireworks and Pig Roast
Where: Shreveport Aquarium Courtyard
When: July 4, 2019/ 7:00 p.m. Fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m.

Take part in the 4th of July Pig Roast with a menu consisting of coleslaw, smoky baked beans, cornbread, grilled peaches and ice cream, plus two drink tickets. Get a VIP viewing of the fireworks, which begin at 9:15 p.m.
