Shreveport Traffic Advisory: Sewer Main Repair On Gilbert Drive

The City of Shreveport's Department of Water and Sewerage is currently working on a sewer main repair located on Gilbert Avenue.

Due to the ongoing work in the area, the southbound lane of Gilbert has been detoured at Drexel Drive. Traffic along Gilbert, between Drexel Drive and Gilbert Circle, has been reduced to a single northbound lane. Motorists are asked to please avoid this area, if possible. Construction is expected to last for the remainder of the week.
