YOU MUST HAVE YOUR COVID VACCINATION CARD WITH YOU IN ORDER TO OBTAIN THE SECOND DOSE!!!COVID VACCINE CLINIC FAQ
1. Do parents/guardians have to be present with their child(ren) at the vaccine clinic?No, but your student will need to have their vaccination card in order to obtain the second dose.2. How do I provide documentation of the vaccine? In order to exempt your child from quarantines due to close contact, you should send a copy of your child's vaccination record to your child's school nurse to have on file. We will have a copier available at the second clinic for those who would like to make a copy to provide to the nurse while at the clinic.
3. Will I be charged for the vaccine? No. Northern Lights may bill your insurance for vaccine administration but there will be no out of pocket costs to you.
4. Can a parent/guardian attend with their child? Yes, one parent per student is allowed due to social distancing requirements.
5. Will my child have to wait after obtaining the vaccine? Yes, they will be observed for 15 minutes after obtaining the vaccine per the vaccine administration protocol.
6. I got my child vaccinated at another clinic. How can I provide you with the documentation you need in order to exempt my child from quarantine due to a close contact after their second dose?You can either screenshot the vaccine card or fax a copy to us after your student has obtained the second dose.

If you would like something included in our weekly newsletter, please send a brief write up with title along with a JPEG or PNG image of your flyer (if applicable) to Tammy Tarling for approval. The deadline each week is Sunday. Any requests received after Sunday will be reviewed for possible submission in the following week's newsletter. All approved submissions will be posted on the district's website.
