Hello Families,
Pending FDA approval, which is expected this week, MSAD #51 will be co-hosting a COVID vaccine clinic with Northern Light Homecare for 12 years and older students! This will be the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine, which consists of 2 doses 21 days apart. COVID-19 vaccination is STRONGLY recommended but is not mandatory for school attendance. Fully vaccinated individuals (14 days past final dose) will NOT need to quarantine if identified as a close contact.
If you choose to obtain the COVID vaccine, you must complete the two shot series as outlined below.
When:
Dose 1: Tuesday, May 18, 2021 2:30pm - 5:30pm
Dose 2: Tuesday, June 8, 2021 2:30pm - 5:30pm
What you need to do: PRE fill out the online form for Northern Light Staff to access. This form MUST be filled out prior to your student obtaining the vaccine. If the form is not filled out, your student cannot be vaccinated.
The online form will be released once we obtain it from Northern Light. Please keep an eye on your email and newsletter for this upcoming link.
Reach out to your School Nurse if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you,Nancy Terison, GMS 6-8 Nterison@msad51.orgErica Sarapas, GHS Esarapas@msad51.org
