BALTIMORE, MD — Two former presidents, along with past cabinet members and current Democratic presidential candidates, paid tribute Friday to U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings. The Baltimore native, who was chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform at the time of his death on Oct. 17, lay in state Thursday at the U.S. Capitol, and was honored at a funeral service Friday in Baltimore.

An overflow crowd at New Psalmist Baptist Church attended the funeral. Among the speakers were former presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. Former Vice President Joe Biden, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Elizabeth Warren were also in attendance.

Obama said in his eulogy: "There's nothing weak about being honorable. You're not a sucker to have integrity and to treat others with respect."
