Fast-Moving Storm To Bring Rain, Wintry Mix To Parts Of MD: Latest Forecast

The storm is expected to sweep from the Midwest to the Appalachians on Tuesday and will bring a range of weather to Maryland.

A fast-moving storm will move into Maryland on Tuesday, according to the latest forecasts, and could drop close to an inch of rain on some parts of the state, while others could see a more wintry mix of precipitation.

The storm is expected to sweep from the Midwest to the Appalachians on Tuesday, producing a narrow corridor of snow that could result in slushy and slippery travel conditions through Tuesday night, AccuWeather said in its latest forecast.

Farther south of the storm track, warm, moist air will help fuel rain and thunderstorms from Tuesday afternoon to Tuesday night.
