2 Jackknifed Tractor-Trailers On I-95 Snarl Baltimore Traffic

BREAKING: Two tractor-trailers were involved in a crash near Eastern Avenue Tuesday morning, officials said.

BALTIMORE, MD — Two tractor-trailers have crashed on Interstate 95 south in Baltimore. The collision occurred on I-95 south past the exit for Eastern Avenue before 10:30 a.m.

Drivers should anticipate an extended closure due to a fuel leak, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

Traffic was getting by on the right shoulder as of 10:40 a.m.

Baltimore is under a flash flood warning until 1 p.m. and tropical storm warning Tuesday morning, and authorities have warned people not to drive if they can help it.

Tropical Storm Isaias was 45 miles south-southeast of Annapolis with maximum sustained winds of 70 mph as of 10 a.m., the National Weather Service advised. The storm was moving north-northeast at 35 mph.

"If you can delay your travel under later today, please do so," Maryland State Police said in a statement after 8 a.m. "Proceed with caution and stay safe."
