An anonymous group that goes by the name "The Power Pack" claimed the largest jackpot in Maryland Lottery history, officials said.

BALTIMORE, MD — Four months after hitting the $731.1 million Powerball jackpot, the group that bought the lottery ticket in western Maryland cashed in, according to the Maryland Lottery.
The winners of what is the fourth-largest jackpot in Powerball history called themselves "The Power Pack," according to lottery officials. The individuals want to remain anonymous.

The $731.1 million ticket sold at the market in Lonaconing was the sixth-largest jackpot win in the history of the U.S. lottery and the largest in Maryland, officials reported.
For selling the jackpot-winning ticket, Coney Market in Allegany County received a $100,000 bonus from the Maryland Lottery.
Power Pack members told the Maryland Lottery they plan to invest the money in their families and communities "for generations to come," opting for the lump sum of $546.8 million in cash. After state and federal taxes, the prize money amounts to $366.6 million, lottery officials said.
The Jan. 20 drawing marked Maryland’s first Powerball jackpot win since 2011 and third overall.

A Pennsylvania couple won the $128.8 million jackpot in December 2011 after buying a ticket at Wesley's restaurant in Elkton while spending Christmas Eve in Cecil County.
