Audition For 'The Voice' In Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD — NBC will be conducting a casting call for "The Voice" in Baltimore this weekend. The show is holding auditions at the convention center downtown.

People can audition alone or as part of a duo or trio. Contestants should prepare two songs that best demonstrate their abilities.

Nashville and Reno hosted open-call auditions in January.

Interested? Those who will be 13 years old by March 31 are welcome to participate. Check these additional eligibility requirements.

To audition, people need to create an account through the website for "The Voice" and make an appointment.

Family and friends cannot attend. Background music and instruments are not allowed. Do not wear a chicken costume, organizers advise. Here are some more audition tips from "The Voice."

Auditions will be held Saturday at the Baltimore Convention Center, 1 West Pratt St., Baltimore, MD 21201. Go in through the Charles Street lobby.

Next "The Voice" will be conducting auditions in Boston; Indianapolis, Indiana; Durham, North Carolina; and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
