Baltimore City Public Schools Calendar 2018-19: First Day, More

BALTIMORE, MD — The first day of school in Baltimore City Public Schools is September 4—and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Baltimore City Public Schools have released their 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

September

• 9/4: Students' First Day

October

• 10/3: Early Release
• 10/18 - 10/19: No School (Professional Development Day)

November

• 11/5: No School (Parent Teacher Conferences)
• 11/6: No School (Election Day)
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/5: Early Release
• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/9: Early Release
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
• 1/25: No School (Professional Development Day)

February

• 2/6: Early Release
• 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day)

March

• 3/6: Early Release
• 3/15: No School (Parent Teacher Conference)

April

• 4/3: Early Release
• 4/15 - 4/22: No School (Spring Recess)

May

• 5/1: Early Release
• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/14: Last Day of School for All Students
