People can register for the COVID-19 vaccinate at the Baltimore Convention Center online or by calling a phone number.

BALTIMORE, MD — Mass vaccination sites for the COVID-19 vaccine will launch in Maryland Friday. One site will be in Baltimore at the Baltimore Convention Center, while another will be in Prince George's County at Six Flags America.
“We are rapidly building a statewide distribution infrastructure as we anxiously await the additional supply that is so desperately needed," Gov. Larry Hogan said in a statement Thursday.
The governor called the two sites a "critical step forward" in the state's vaccination plan.

"We are prepared to deploy whatever supply the federal government is able to provide," said Hogan, noting the state has moved from administering 2,500 shots a day to 25,000 shots a day.
The mass vaccination sites will offer shots by appointment only, and appointments to receive the second dose will be scheduled simultaneously. Vaccinations are free, and insurance information will not be collected.

As of Feb. 4, authorities say Maryland providers have administered 601,914 COVID-19 vaccines, and 73.9 percent of all first doses received from the federal government have been given.
Another mass vaccination site will open in Baltimore, at M&T Bank Stadium, in mid-February.
Sites are being finalized in Western Maryland, Southern Maryland and on the Eastern Shore. Officials say each site will receive its own allocation of doses separate from what is already being allocated to providers.
The mass vaccination sites will be among the more than 110 providers administering the COVID-19 vaccine in Maryland, a network that includes hospitals, neighborhood pharmacies and county health departments.
