I-83 South Reopens After Crash: Baltimore Police

A crash temporarily closed I-83 south Friday morning approaching downtown Baltimore.

BALTIMORE, MD — All lanes have reopened after a crash in Baltimore caused a temporary shutdown on Interstate 83 at Guilford Avenue Friday morning, according to police. Lane closures were in place for about 30 minutes.

Officers were working to clear the crash from I-83 south after 8:30 a.m., Detective Jeremy Silbert reported. Backups at one point stretched to 41st Street.

Silbert said a tow truck had arrived by 8:45 a.m., and police reported the crash had cleared by 9:05 a.m.
