Fans Can Take A Free COVID Test At Orioles Home Games
The Orioles program noted that testing is not required for admittance to games.

BALTIMORE, MD — Orioles fans can catch a home game at Camden Yards and get tested for COVID-19 at the same time. The Maryland Department of Health announced Friday that it would establish a COVID-19 testing site inside the stadium and offer free PCR tests before and during all hometown games. This is a voluntary opportunity for fans attending the game and not a requirement for entrance to the game.
“Maryland is fighting COVID with vaccinations, but continued testing and practicing of safety measures like wearing masks and maintaining social distance remain a critical part to ending this pandemic,” Gov. Larry Hogan said in a press release. “We are grateful for the Orioles' support and partnership and look forward to bringing more testing opportunities like these into communities across the state.”
MDH Secretary Dennis R. Schrader said that as summer approaches and people hope for the return of activities they've missed the past year, such as Orioles basement, "convenient test" is important to offer.

The testing site will be located in the lower concourse across from Section 26 and open from the time the gates open, an hour before the game, and through the first 2.5 hours of that game or the end of the 8th inning, whichever comes first. Visitors to the ballgame will be able to make an instant appointment using a QR code posted throughout the stadium or walk up for free testing.
All individuals tested will be notified of results by phone or email and will have access to an online portal to check their laboratory results. Results for the tests are usually available within 24 to 48 hours.

“The Orioles organization continually goes above and beyond in their commitment to the Baltimore community,” Mayor Brandon M. Scott said. “Their enduring support will further assist our COVID-19 recovery efforts and help Baltimore residents overcome the ongoing challenges of the pandemic.”
John Angelos, Orioles chairman and CEO, said the partnership will help stop the spread through increased testing and vaccination participation.
“By partnering with the Maryland Department of Health to bring on-site testing and additional vaccination information to Oriole Park, we can continue these efforts to reach societal immunity and end this pandemic once and for all," he said.
