Indoor Trick-Or-Treating And Other Halloween Events In Maryland
Free food for kids, haunted attractions, indoor festivals and mall trick-or-treating are some options with rain in the Halloween forecast.
MARYLAND — With the weather outside potentially frightful, Halloween may be a good time to check out indoor options. Here are some we found across the state, including restaurants where kids eat free, trick-or-treating inside at malls and businesses, haunted houses and more. There are a few outdoor events that are still on, but they will be in areas that are contained or have roads blocked off to keep pedestrians safe.
So far the town of Thurmont in Frederick County and the cities of Hagerstown and Boonsboro in Washington County are the only ones we've seen that have canceled trick-or-treating Thursday night; Thurmont and Hagerstown postponed residential trick-or-treating until Friday, while Boonsboro will recognize Halloween Saturday.
