Loyola Student Among Murdered Pennsylvania Men

Slain student Jimi Patrick, missing since July 5, just finished his freshman year at Loyola University on a full scholarship.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA - A man has allegedly confessed to his role in the murder of four missing persons in Pennsylvania. One of the victims has ties to Baltimore, where he was enrolled in college at Loyola University.

Cosmo DiNardo, 20, will avoid the death penalty in exchange for his confession, defense attorney Paul Lang said in an on-air interview.

"He confessed to his participation or commission in the murders of four young men," Lang said.

He has also told investigators where the bodies of the three remaining victims are, Lang told 6ABC. The four victims were reported missing last week and authorities have been searching for them since Sunday night.

The dramatic turn of events happened Thursday night, following five days of a heavy police presence on DiNardo's family farm in Solebury and the discovery of the remains of one victim on Wednesday.

In Baltimore, Loyola University united in prayer for Jimi Patrick, 19, who was going into his sophomore year. A business major at the university, Patrick was on a full scholarship.

He lives with his grandparents in Newtown, Pennsylvania, and was last seen July 5.

Loyola University held a prayer vigil on Wednesday and invited people to write their prayers in the alumni chapel on campus or on Facebook.

Patrick's grandparents, Sharon and Rich, released information about him as searchers entered the fifth day of combing a farm for several missing men in Solebury, Pennsylvania.

His grandparents said he was an athlete, playing little league with Council Rock, where he was an "excellent" pitcher and hitter. He also played basketball with St. Andrew CYO league.

Before enrolling at Loyola, Patrick attended Holy Ghost Prep and works at a restaurant in Buckingham, Pennsylvania, his family said.

Remains of the one of the men, 19-year-old Dean Finocchiaro of Langhorne, were found Wednesday at the property, owned by Antonio and Sandra Dinardo. Their 20-year-old son, Cosmo Dinardo, is a person of interest in the case. Dinardo is being held at Bucks County prison on charges he stole another one of the missing man's car.

The status of the other three missing men — Jimi Patrick, 19; Tom Meo, 21; or Mark Sturgis, 22— was not disclosed by authorities during a midnight press conference during which it was announced Finocchiaro's remains were found.

Authorities continued the search at the site Thursday, District Attorney Matt Weintraub said, stating: "We're going to bring each of these lost boys home to their families, one way or another."
