Make Studio Gets BACK to Business this Summer!
July and August are Cooking (with Gas or Charcoal?) In and Out of the Studio

Baltimore, MD – The majority of Make Studio artists have finally made it BACK to working in-person at the studio, with more returning throughout the summer. And our feelings about that are not small at all! In recognition of our artists returning to the studio, we are having a large sale - our biggest one ever - anchored by a big, lighthearted gallery show that celebrates the artists’ activities, aspirations, and preoccupations while they worked from home and looked forward to being back together.
MAKE IT BACK Summer Exhibit & Sale launches with a soft opening during the 4th of July weekend in Make Studio's Showroom Gallery (3326 Keswick Rd. Baltimore) and remains open through the end of August. Up-to-date gallery hours will be posted throughout its run on our social media. We’ll also be sharing online promotional discounts, “Flash Sales”, and themed giveaways via our webshop and social media. The show will culminate with a backyard-style Cookout Celebration around Labor Day, along with a mouthwatering food-themed online show. Visit make-studio.org for updates.
We are also thrilled to announce the return of our beloved Schwingo, an annual summer art bingo event, on August 21st, 2021. Our bingo super fans can once again look forward to awesome prizes donated by local artists and makers. Location and ticket sale information will be available soon.

The Arts & Drafts Summer Music & Arts Festival presented by the Baltimore County Arts Guild and hosted at Guinness Open Gate Brewery (5001 Washington Blvd, Halethorpe, MD), will also be happening for the first time in August! Make Studio artists Alex Albert, Katelynn Herty, and Jerry Williams will be the featured artists in our booth at the festival on August 21st & 22nd.
And last but not least, mark your calendars for the fourth installment of Cordially Invited, an invitational exhibition and showcase of artists working at progressive art centers worldwide. Cordially Invited will be on display in Make Studio’s Showroom Gallery and online, accompanied by additional programming this October!
