3,000-Mile Bike Race Ends In Annapolis, Winners Finish In 11 Days
A cross-country bicycle race finished in Annapolis saw the winners complete the 3,037.8-mile course in less than two weeks. Canadian Leah Goldstein won the women's division and posted the best time overall. She conquered the ride in 11 days, three hours and three minutes.
Heat Advisory, Code Orange Air Quality Alert Issued In MD Tuesday
A heat advisory is in effect Tuesday for parts of central and northeastern Maryland. An air quality alert has also been issued for parts of the state. More heat advisories and severe storms are also possible this week, officials say.

School Enrollment Drops In Maryland; Pandemic Likely Cause
A profound nationwide drop in public school enrollment could have lasting effects in Maryland, some of which could extend far beyond the pandemic. A new analysis conducted by the Associated Press and Chalkbeat, a nonprofit news organization covering education, shows student enrollment last year dropped in nearly every U.S. state, including Maryland.
