5 People Are Missing In Maryland: Have You Seen Them?

Several people have been reported missing across Maryland in recent weeks, including three teens. Can you help bring them home?

MARYLAND — Multiple people have been reported missing across Maryland in recent weeks, and we are hoping you can help bring them home. Those who are missing range in age from 13 to 57.

UPDATE: Since we published the article Sunday, one person has been located. A 15-year-old has been found safe, police reported before 10:15 a.m. Monday.

Sherley A. Cooney, 57, of White Oak was last seen by friends Oct. 21. She walked away from her home on Baritone Court around 9:45 a.m. She is described as an African-American woman who is 5 feet 3 inches tall and 100 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Asucenia Martinez Benitez, 13, was last seen around 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 21, when she walked away from home in Aspen Hill. She left her Arctic Avenue home that Monday morning wearing a black-and-white checkered jacket and blue jeans with a black hat and black sneakers. Benitez is described as an Hispanic girl who is 5 feet tall and 100 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400.

Tamia Pena, 14, was reported missing from Linthicum Heights, police said Oct. 15. Call the Anne Arundel County Police Department's Missing Persons Squad at 410-222-8763. Those who would like to remain anonymous may call the tip line at 410-222-4700.

Shawn Williams, 13, was last seen Oct. 12 in Baltimore City. He was in the 3000 block of East Biddle Street at the time, wearing a black shirt with dark pants and black boots. Call the Baltimore Police Department's Missing Persons unit at 443-984-7385.


Michael Randall, 52, was last seen in Baltimore Oct. 10. He was in the 4800 block of Liberty Heights Avenue when he disappeared and was wearing a navy-blue sweatshirt with black pants. He is described as a missing vulnerable adult who is 5 feet 6 inches tall and 165 pounds. Call the Baltimore Police Department's Missing Persons unit at 443-984-7385.
