Teen Murdered In East Baltimore Advocated For Violence Prevention
Two 18-year-old men were killed in a triple shooting in the 2400 block on Brentwood Avenue in the Barclay neighborhood on Dec. 1.
BALTIMORE, MD — DaVonte Friedman had been working to turn his life around — even speaking to several members of the Baltimore City Council on youth violence — before he was murdered Saturday in East Baltimore.
“My little brother just turned 18 on Nov. 26 and died on Dec. 1,” his brother Tyrone Friedman said. “He wanted to see more done in the community for himself and other kids like him.”
